Hannah, Thomas & Rachel pose as Terra Cotta Soldiers. Rachel was too afraid to put her head only in the neck. Hope...forget about it. The kids got to make clay Terra Cotta soldeirs.
Hang in there! American food is not too far away. At the White Swan the morning breakfast buffet is not bad. I was just ready for 'normal'. Your time is coming to an end- I hope that you can look back and see all the little baby steps that Hope has made even while you were in China and be encouraged. Hope's little heart will start loving ALL of you real soon. I just wanted to get Mikenna back to the states so that she couldn't rely on the CHinese people. Once in the states she had no other choice but to depend on Paul and I and our girls. I will be praying for physical and emotional strength for you as Hope needs to be touching you all the time. Our little one would only sleep on top of me for the first week and then she always had to be touching me in someway throughout the night(she slept with us because that is what her foster mom did) anyway. After 2 weeks home we managed to get her in a crib next to our bed and she sleeps all night in there! Don't get discouraged- she will make progress and you can look back and say'remember when...' God's blessings to all of you, Lori Kruit
